EFFECTIVE BEHAVIORAL AND INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORTS CENTER

The overall goals of the EBIS Center in Georgia are to:

  • Expanding school-wide EBIS technical assistance to allow large-scale implementation within the state of Georgia with an emphasis on building capacity.
  • Emphasizing effective education and support for students with more intense and individualized support needs;
  • Increasing accessibility to the concepts, outcomes, and research associated with school-wide EBIS;
  • Establishing a network of resource agents to build local capacity; and
  • Employing district-to-district communities and regional centers of practice to facilitate EBIS implementation.
